On 9 April, BrestPort organised an event to present the solution selected for demonstration as part of the HYDEA project.
The H2X Ecosystems company presented a hydrogen fuel cells technology applied to light mobility. This demonstration illustrated the French hydrogen pilot use case of the HYDEA project. The vehicle is designed to satisfy a dual use, for military and civil applications, in particular for port logistics. The demonstration also underlined the advantages of fuel cells compared to classical batteries, in terms of weight and loading capacities. Clearly this type of hydrogen propelled vehicle will find applications in port environments.
