HYDEA project covers a range of multidisciplinary scientific and technical expertise. Therefore, in order to share the findings as widely as possible with the R&D community, the project partners are organising an online scientific seminar to be held on 24 November 2026, from 11:00 to 12:30 (CET).
Five speakers will take turns to present their work on the development of innovative pilot projects using hydrogen-related technologies.
- HYDEA Project objectives and activities by Victoria León Carpintero, Chemical Engineer (ITG)
- C02 capture technologies by Inês Freitas, PhD Student & EcoWires Co-founder (Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto)
- Exploration of alternative catalysts for methanol production by Guillermo Martín Atanes, R&D Engineer (ITG)
- Optimisation of methanol production by Andreia Silva, Senior Researcher (Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto)
- Testimonial of a port end-user by Filipe Martins, Head of Innovation and Modernization (APDL)
The seminar will give plenty of scope for discussion, including a 20-minute Q&A session.
