The 11 partners in the HYDEA consortium met on 30 November to officially launch the project. The meeting was hosted by the Port of Vigo. It was an opportunity for the partners to meet in person or remotely.
The day opened with speeches by Carlos Botana, President of Port Authority of Vigo, and Fernando Val, General Manager of Energylab. Then, Tania Afonso, who is Project Officer of the Atlantic Area Interreg programme, outlined the main operating rules. Yarima Torreiro and Sonia Pascual, who are HYDEA project managers, presented work plan, deliverables, management and financial issues, and upcoming tasks. Finally, each partner introduced themselves and explained their contribution to the project.
