On October 22nd, CIIMAR and University of Porto organised, in Leça da Palmera, a seminar entitled ‘Marine Energy: Innovation and Sustainability”. Is was set up the framework of European Maritime Day in My Country Initiative and the CIIMAR’s 25th anniversary. Speakers addressed a myriad of topics related to cutting-edge developments on coastal protection and marine renewable energy.
During the second session entitled ‘CIIMAR Contributions to Marine Renewables and Coastal Protection”, Daniel Clemente from University of Porto presented HYDEA project. The event brought together around forty participants.
